There’s no question this Thanksgiving will be different than any in memory, but just because you won’t be going over the river and through the woods to grandmother’s house this year, it doesn’t mean you can’t have a special day with a small group of family or friends.
A big new trend this fall is Thanksgiving Take-Out…and some local Rhode Island restaurants are pulling out all the stops! Here are a a few highlights:
Galito Restaurant is a hidden gem and maybe the most authentic Portuguese restaurant in the Ocean State. Family-owned, now in their second generation, Galito is offering amazing Thanksgiving platters in two sizes. Choose from a traditional Thanksgiving feast, or one of a half dozen Portuguese favorites! Includes a bottle of house wine to get the party started! Located at 244 Columbus Ave, Pawtucket RI.
The Centredale Revival Company – A new Thanksgiving Take-Out twist from a brand-new restaurant is “Everything but the Turkey”. As the name suggests, you still have to bake your own turkey, but pair it with Take-Out from The Centredale… Creative sides, take-home pre-mixed cocktail jars…and finish it off with house-made sweets! Located at 2025 Smith St., North Providence RI.
Dewolf Tavern is offering a build-your-own Thanksgiving Take-Out feast with a la carte pricing. Course choices include appetizers and breads, soups and salads, four main course selections, sides, and desserts. The combinations are almost endless! The only catch is you must heat your meal at home… But, hey, you don’t have to defrost… Or stuff the turkey! Located at 259 Thames St., Bristol RI
Happy Thanksgiving!
