Forget the pumpkin… 92 PRO-FM’s Kim Zandy is heating things up with a Bailey’s Salted Caramel Hot Chocolate!
As part of EnjoyRI.com and our “Fall Drink Spotlight”, we asked the personalities of 92 PRO-FM to share their favorite Fall Drink, and Kim may have just changed the game with this recipe you can make right in the comfort of your own home…
So, how to make fall better? Pumpkin Spice? Not Nice. Apple Picking? Have you SEEN the prices? What’s a girl to do?
She goes to the liquor store…duh! And there….before her wondrous eyes…..she sees it. Bailey’s (which is already awesome) has come out with….wait for it….SALTED CARAMEL! YUM! Cheaper than a bag of hand-picked apples, no need to worry about the kids falling out of a tree, and oh, so delicious! Pair it with Hershey’s hot chocolate and it’s Summer Who? Ok, that’s taking it a bit far, but it helps, so here you go!
Ingredients: Hershey’s Chocolate Syrup, Milk, Bailey’s Scrumptious Salted Caramel (that’s really what it’s called!), Whipped Cream, Ghiardelli Sea Salt Caramel
Make your hot chocolate as normal….you can do it low and slow on the stove, but I have zero patience, so I just nuke it.
1.) Grab your favorite mug
2.) Pour 1 1/2 oz Bailey’s into empty mug…or just glug, glug, glug pour like I do.
3.) Pour the hot chocolate in next
4.) Top with whipped cream
5.) Drizzle with Ghiardelli….”accidentally” get some on your fingers. Lick it off.
Maybe Fall isn’t so bad after all.
