I’m always sad to see summer come to an end. However, the arrival of fall and cooler weather means there are different items in my cart on LiquorRI.com.
Fall doesn’t mean we stop drinking white wine. A visit to my favorite Thai BYOB restaurant means I’ll be bringing along a tart Kim Crawford Sauvignon Blanc. Pairs perfectly with a little heat from the spicy food!
I’m a bit of a traditionalist when it comes to Italian food…so if I’m making a batch of bolognese or even a homemade pizza, I’ll reach for a DaVinci Chianti. Can’t beat it with red sauce!
Finally, when my friend, Rich, drops by unexpectedly, I’ll open a Locations by Dave Phinney California Red Blend or Spanish Red Blend. Reasonably priced, really interesting wine. Hopefully he doesn’t show up empty-handed!
