After an announcement early in the year that the festival would be cancelled, a new owner revived the Rhythm & Roots Festival, a long-time mainstay of the end-of-summer in Rhode Island, bringing a slate of popular rock, folk, Cajun and zydeco artists that produced sold-out crowds at Ninigret Park in Charlestown.
